We made many new friends on this adventure and discovered new cultures, new landscapes and an appreciation of the animal kingdom that contributes so much to the economy of Africa. This really was an awe-inspiring journey and a privilege to experience this magnificent part of Africa.
Early November saw nine excited, albeit apprehensive, travel consultants embark on an experience which would change them forever. Although it is true that one will always return from a sojourn changed to some degree these agents were unaware of the impact China’s history, culture and environments would have on them. Recently my family and I booked ourselves a trip to the Gold Coast. I’d been before when I was a lot younger and before I had a family. I was looking forward to experiencing it again, only this time we are taking our kids. The Gold Coast is the perfect place for families. We set ourselves a challenge and that was, we would take in a couple of the quintessential Gold Coast attractions, but we really wanted to find family friendly options off the beaten track!
